Getting into the City Centre
Via Bus: From your location at 102 The Village, walk approximately 2 minutes to the nearest bus stop at Haxby Ryedale Court.
Board the First York bus service 1 (Blue line) at Haxby Ryedale Court. This bus runs every 15–20 minutes and travels through New Earswick and Nestlé Haxby Road before reaching York City Centre.
The journey to York Theatre Royal or York Station takes about 25–30 minutes. You can pay using contactless payment or mobile tickets via the First Bus app

Location: 39 The Village, Haxby, York, YO32 2HU – On leaving the property from the front door, turn left and walk down The Village road, the supermarket can be found a few minutes down the road on the right-hand side.
Co-Op
Opening Hours: 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Mon – Sat and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday
Location: Ryedale Court, Haxby, York, YO32 3SA – Co-Op is just a few minutes more down the village road and again can be found on the right hand side.

You can log in to your own Netflix account or press the guide button on the grey remote to access Freeview channels.
Hob
Press and hold the ‘on’ button, select which ring you wish to use by pressing on the symbols, then use the up and down arrows to set the temperature.
Heating
The heating has been programmed as necessary; however, if you wish to adjust the temperature up or down, you can do so by turning the dial.
You can also control the temperature using the controls on the radiators.
The Boiler can be found in the cupboard to the left of the kitchen sink.
Electrics
Location: The fuse box is located towards the ceiling by the front door. Trip switches (marked) will turn everything off if gthere is a problem with any of the outlets. If this happens, try turning the trip switch back to on again. If the problem persists, please contact us.
Hot water
Hot water is provided by the combination gas boiler. Please do not adjust the temperature of the hot water on the boiler as this can become extremely hot.
Dishwasher
Press and hold the ‘on’ button. Select the program by tapping the ‘program’ button to view the options, then press Play.
Washing machine
Tiwst the dial to select a program, then press Play.
Iron
Iron and ironing board can be located in the cupboard at the end of the utility room, by the back door and freidge freezer.
Cot
The travel cot is stored in the cupboard in the front room.
Please bring your own bedding if you wish to use it.
Bins
There is a purple bin in the front garden for rubbish and recycling.
Taxi
A local Taxi number is 01904 365365.

- Would you please ensure all windows are shut.
- The lights are turned off.
- We don’t ask you to strip the beds, but if you wouldn’t mind putting your used towels in the shower
- Would you please put all your rubbish in the bin provided
- Wash up all dishes
- Lock the apartment door and return the keys to the key safe box
- Make sure you have all your belongings and have a safe journey home!
Please note a £100 security deposit will be charged if any damage is found.
