If you are arriving by car you will find ‘Space K’  the first space as you enter the car park on the right-hand side. 

There is a bollard (which reservers your space) which can be lifted and lowered to allow you to park. 

For extra parking: many of the roads surrounding the apartment have free on-street parking, please see local signage. 

 

 

 

 

 

At the back of the parking space, you will find a key box, I will send you a 4 digit code the day before check-in. 

Enter the code by scrolling each dial and then pull down the small black button to open the box. 

    

At the entrance of the building you will find an intercom on the right hand side. Please place the red fob on the intercom to gain access to the building. 

                

Once in, you will see a set of stairs on the left, take the stairs to the first floor, Apartment K

Use the key to enter the apartment. 

 

Welcome to the ‘Aura Suite’

We are delighted you are staying with us and whatever your reason for visiting, we are here to do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

As a Thank you for choosing us, there is a bottle of fizz in the fridge for you to enjoy!

There are also maps for you to take and use.

Please read through the information provided to ensure your stay runs smoothly. 

Parking 

There is a designated parking space for the apartment – Space KThe first space as you enter the car park on the right-hand side. 

There is a bollard up protecting this space. To gain access, lift the bollard upwards and lower to the ground before parking. 

Extra parking 

There is on-street parking available on near by streets. 

Getting into town 

Take a left out the car park and follow the road around. 

At the main road take a right, walk down to the traffic light and cross over to the right on to Layerthorpe. Continue onto Peasholme Green, follow the road up and around and you will arrive in the centre of town. 

Fossgate is just off on the left and Mark and Spencer and the Shambles on your right. 

Heating 

The heating has been set up to ensure you have a comfortable stay, however, if you would like the heating on at a time when it is not programmed for, press the ‘Advance’ Botton to turn the heat on.

 

Hot Water 

The Hot water heating system is on a program, and you should not need to touch it during your stay.  

If however, you do require additional hot water, there is a boost option.

Press ‘menu’ 

Turn the dial to scroll through the menu options: 

BOOST 

click YES

A lightening symbol will indicate this

Press ‘menu’ to return to the main screen

The boost function automatically deactivated as soon as the temperature is reached. 

Oven

The knob on the left is the function control and knob on the right is the thermostat control. 

Set the function control to the desired operating mode and then set the temperature with the thermostat control. 

To turn off, switch both knobs to the upright position. 

Hob

Press the main ‘on/off’ button once to active the hob. Touch one of the cooking zone selection controls to turn on the desired cooking zone. After selecting the cooking zone of the hob, 0. Will flash on the relevant cooking zone display. 

Touch the + and – keys to set the temperature. 

To turn off the hob press the on/off button for 2 seconds and the hob will turn off and return to stand by mode. 

Washing Machine 

Determine the programme suitable for the type of laundry and selection the function with the programme section knob. 

Programme are listed with the highest spin speed appropriate for that particular type of fabric. 

You can set the machine to switch to the drying step after the end of the wash cycle by pressing the drying button after you have selected the washing programme. 

Tea and coffee

Please help yourself to tea and coffee during your stay.  

You will find these in jars the kitchen worktop.

Iron and Ironing Board

These are located in the boiler cupboard at the end of the kitchen.

Can be found in the wardrobe

TV 

The apartment is equipped with a 43” 4K Smart TV with access to Freeview.

Local shop/convenience store

There is a large Morrisons just a 5-minute walk away if you take a left out the car park follow the road around onto the main road, cross over and you’ll find the back of the supermarket. 

Alternatively, on the way into town, there is a small Asda.

Cafes and Cake!

I would highly recommend Fossgate an up and coming trendy road full of independent shops and bars as you walk into town!

Maintenance

There is a vacuum cleaner in the boiler cupboard at the end of the kitchen and cleaning products under the sink if you require them. 

If you notice anything that needs our attention, please do not hesitate to let us know.

In case of a fire 

Please familiarise yourself with the building and the exit when you arrive. 

If you hear the fire alarm, please leave the apartment and make your way safely to your nearest exit and outside to the car park.

Close all the doors to the affected apartment/area 

Sound the fire alarm (if not already activated) by pressing a call point.

Checking out 

We hope you have had a wonderful stay and want it to be as easy as possible for you to check out. 

Please ensure all windows are shut 

Lights are turned off

We don’t ask you to strip the beds but if you wouldn’t mind putting your used 

towels in the shower

Please put all your rubbish in bin provided

Wash up all dishes

Lock the apartment door and return the keys to the key safe box

Return parking bollard to an upright position
