The Hop York is a unique real ale house and an exciting drinking establishment located at the heart of York on Fossgate, serving up delicious wood-fired pizza and ales, as well as hosting weekly music.
The interior is far from that of a traditional ‘boozer’. Tiled walls, elegant light fittings and a large glass roofed atrium give it a very open feel. At one time this building housed Fellini’s – a local Italian restaurant – and almost as a nod to its past, The Hop offers drinkers pizza cooked in a wood fired oven at the back of the pub.
