Each room has plenty of character-based in the eaves of the building with statement beams. The kitchen and living room have views overlooking the neighbouring rooftops.
The kitchen is adjoined to the lounge with a large worktop bar providing a sense of open plan living. It is extremely well equipped including a De’Longhi coffee machine, Nutri Bullet, dishwasher, washer dryer and an extensive range of utensils for those who love to cook.
The lounge area has a flat-screen TV and a comfortable sofa (which can also be turned into a sofa bed on request). There is a drop-leaf table that comfortably seats two, but can be extended to accommodate four.
The bedroom has a double bed with a dressing table and ample storage space. It has a quality pocket sprung, hypoallergenic, antibacterial, spinal support mattress to ensure a perfect night sleep. The bed is dressed in hotel quality linen.
The bathroom has a shower over a bath and towels are included during your stay.
The loft apartment is situated between York Race Course and Micklegate Bar, one of the historic entrances leading into the city centre. Micklegate has a number of popular bars and restaurants.
It’s also a short walk to Bishopthorpe ‘Bishy’ road, famous for winning high street of the year with its popular award-winning independent shops and cafes.
Please note this apartment is on the third floor with no lift. Stairs only!
There is no designated parking, but some free on-street parking nearby and close to a number of public car parks.
Once parked up there is no need to use the car as everything is within walking distance.
