Description
With all the luxuries you would expect from a hotel, with fresh white bedding and big fluffy towels, but with the flexibility of a self-catering apartment.
Original brickwork and panelled windows frame the views out onto the river Foss.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a previously used flour mill, which was later repurchased as a Nestle warehouse and has since been converted into charmingly refurbished apartments.
Included within your stay are mini toiletries, tea and coffee-making facilities, Smart TV.
We now have a designated parking space!
The ‘ChocoLets’ apartments are all based in the old Rowntree’s chocolate warehouse.
Now known as Nestle.
Originally one of the largest flour mills in Europe in 1860. The building was situated between the river Foss and Wormald’s cut, The mill closed in 1930 and in 1935 it became the Rowntree and Co’s Navigation Warehouse and now has been extensively renovated into luxury apartments.

Lovely stay at the Cocoa Suites
Lovely stay at the Cocoa Suites – Daisy was a great host very responsive. The studio was immaculate and had everything we needed for a two night stay it was really clean and cosy. Excellent location for attending events at the Barbican and also for exploring York. Lots of places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re visiting and would highly recommend.

A fairly newly refurbished apartment in the old Rowntree’s chocolate building. Perfect size for a short stay. Beautifully finished and nicely furnished. The view from the window of the river was delightful- many flowering water Lilly. The communal areas were well kept. The kitchen area was well equipped. The location was within walking distance of all tourist areas. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay .

Property felt really homely and had all the amenities you could possibly need for your stay. Host was really quick to respond and the suggestions of places to eat and drink were really handy. Would stay again.

great stay for the weekend. Apartment is in a perfect location about 10 min walk from the shambles in a great area. The apartment was very clean and really comfortable shower was great. Host was very helpful with recommendations and instructions. Would definitely recommend

We had an amazing stay, the Airbnb had everything we needed and was in perfect conditions. It was a walking distance from everything you’d want to see when visiting York. Violet had great communication, she sent everything we could possible need and more before our arrival. Overall, it was a 5* stay and I’d definitely stay again on my next visit to work.
