Step 1:
Step 2: This will take you through to download an app called:
‘KS Keychain’ directly from the App Store or Google Play.
This will provide you with a mobile key that you can use to gain access to the apartment
Step 3: Place your phone with the app open by the apartment door lock. (use this same method to unlock the external door)
Step 4: The lock will flash green and you can push down on the handle to gain access.

You can drive down the road to the front of the apartment to drop bags off, then carry on down the road to follow the one-way system back out onto the main road.

Being in the centre of York there is no need for a car, and we are a 10-minute walk from York Train Station. However, if you are travelling to us by car please see the below for local car parks:

Heating
The apartment has electric radiators throughout. The heaters will never allow the apartment to drop below 19 degrees.
There are switches on the wall next to the radiators to turn the heating on.
If you wish to increase the temperature you can adjust an individual radiator by pressing enter to set the time you need to boost and then using the up and down arrows select the temperature you want.
Oven
The top oven is controlled by the two dials on the right, the function dial and then the temperature setting.
The bottom oven is controlled by the two dials on the left, the function dials and then the temperature setting.

Hob
Each cooking ring has its own dial to adjust heat, indicated by the diagrams on the right hand side.
Iron and Ironing Board
These are located in the wardrobe.
The Shower
Please allow 1 hour for the water to heat up before using the shower.
The hot water needs to be switched on by pressing the BOOST button.
We recommend turning it on when you arrive.
Press the boost button 5 times until all the lights are showing blue; this will heat the shower for 2 hours
A hot water tank powers the shower.
It works by heating the water and storing it for later use.
If the shower is turned on and water used before the tank has had enough time to heat up, the tank will then fill again with cold water and start to heat it, so the process begins again.
This can be done on a night ready for the morning

We hope you have had a wonderful stay and want it to be as easy as possible for you to check out.
Check out is 11am
- Would you please ensure all windows are shut.
- The lights are turned off.
- We don’t ask you to strip the beds, but we would appreciate it if you could place the used towels in the shower area.
- Please place all rubbish in the bin provided.
- Please place all dishes and kitchen utensils in the dishwasher and put on a hot wash.
- Shut the door behind you and replace the keys to the lockbox and ensure it is locked.
- Make sure you have all your belongings and have a safe journey home!
Please note a £100 security deposit will be charged if any damage is found.
